TROOPS ARREST WANTED IPOB COMMANDER GENTLE AND EIGHT OTHERS IN SEPARATE OPERATIONS

Troops of Operation UDO KA have arrested a wanted commander of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), identified as Gentle, along with eight other suspected criminals in separate operations conducted in Owerri West, Mbaitoli in Imo State, and Izzi in Ebonyi State.

The Director of Defence Media Operations, Major General Markus Kangye, made this known during the biweekly Defence Media briefing in Abuja. He stated, “Our forces have successfully apprehended the IPOB commander Gentle and eight other suspects in these operations, demonstrating our ongoing efforts to maintain security.”

Major General Kangye highlighted other recent operational successes recorded across the country and reaffirmed the Armed Forces’ commitment to safeguarding Nigeria’s territorial integrity and ensuring lasting peace and security nationwide.

He added, “We remain dedicated to protecting our nation and promoting stability for all citizens.”
