Ubiaja, Esan South East, Edo State – 14th Dec. 2025 – The Director General of the Edo State Tourism Agency, Lady Vivian Elabor, gathered with her community in Ubiaja for a Thanksgiving event that also celebrated her father’s birthday. The occasion highlighted her gratitude and reinforced her dedication to Esan South East. The festivities began with a Thanksgiving Mass at the Saint Benedict Catholic Church, Ubiaja, where Lady Elabor thanked Almighty God (El ROI). Subsequently, she hosted a reception at her father’s compound in Eguare, drawing a jubilant crowd of constituents. In her speech, Lady Elabor praised her people as her “pillar of support and strength after God.” She extended thanks to the Governor of Edo State, His Excellency, Distinguished Senator Monday Okpebholo, for the opportunity to serve. “I am immensely grateful to His Excellency for the platform to contribute to the growth and visibility of our dear state,” she stated. The event doubled as a birthday celebration for her father, Elder Prince Francis Elabor, infusing familial joy into the community gathering. Lady Elabor engaged with attendees, urging unity and steadfastness to elevate Esan South East. She reaffirmed her commitment to using her office to attract tourism and development to the region. “My homecoming is not just a celebration, but a renewal of my vow to be a vocal and active champion for Esan South East. We will work tirelessly to ensure our unique heritage and potential receive the recognition and investment they deserve,” Lady Elabor affirmed.
