Nigeria sealed a perfect group stage at AFCON 2025 with a 3-1 win over Uganda in Morocco, sending the Cranes home.

Raphael Onyedika scored twice as Paul Onuachu netted his first international goal in 4 years.

Uganda’s Salim Magoola was red-carded post-half for handling outside box; they finished bottom, 8 points behind Nigeria.

Nigeria dominated, creating chances through Moses Simon, Victor Osimhen, Chidozie Awaziem. Onuachu opened scoring (45+1′), Onyedika doubled (62′, 75′). Uganda’s only consolation came with Rogers Mato’s chip (80′) but it was not enough to stop elimination.

With a win in all Group stage encounter, Super Eagles now heads to knockouts stage with confidence.
