PRESIDENTIAL ASPIRANT PETER OBI SURVIVES ATTACK IN BENIN

Benin City, Edo State – Presidential aspirant of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Mr. Peter Obi, has reportedly survived a shooting incident in Benin, the Edo State capital, today, Tuesday, February 24.

According to an eyewitness, the incident occurred at an ADC event. The witness stated, “hoodlums invaded the venue and began shooting. They specifically chased the vehicle carrying Mr. Peter Obi to Chief John Oyegu’s house and continued their attack.”

The eyewitness described the immediate aftermath, saying, “This happened a few minutes ago. The situation remains chaotic, and those nearby are trying to ascertain whether Mr. Obi was killed or survived.”

However, Mr. Obi’s media adviser, Mr. Valentine Obienyem, has since confirmed the incident and assured the public that Mr. Obi is safe.
