She expressed profound gratitude to the State Governor, His Excellency Senator Monday Okpebholo, for his visionary leadership and the enabling environment created by his practical, grassroots‑oriented S.H.I.N.E. Agenda. Outlining a clear strategic path, Lady Elabor declared the agency’s mission “to take Edo to the World, and to bring the World to Edo.” She unveiled three core pillars of this renaissance: the Power of Local Tourism and Revival, the Untapped Goldmine of Food Tourism, and the Catching Them Young initiative through the Edo Tourism School Clubs.
Lady Elabor highlighted the symbolic collaboration with the National Museum as a union of past, present, and future, and acknowledged the contribution of tourism experts like Mr. Edosa Eghobamien of AMENA Academy. She concluded with a powerful call to action, urging all attendees to become evangelists for the new Edo story—a story of revival, prosperity, and unparalleled cultural wealth.
