Governor Siminalayi Fubara of Rivers State has joined top leaders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) at the inaugural meeting of the party’s Committee on Strategy, Conflict Resolution and Mobilisation. The committee, chaired by Yobe State Governor Mai Mala Buni, aims to address internal disputes and emerging threats within the party.
“The committee will adopt strategic engagements and wide consultations to deliver inclusive and lasting solutions that give both old and new members a renewed sense of belonging,” Governor Buni said. Members include Governors AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, Hope Uzodimma, and Hyacinth Alia, among others.
Governor Fubara’s participation signals a potential expansion of his influence within the APC. The committee will work to address potential threats to party unity and promote collective good over personal interests.
