The Executive Chairman of Orhionmwon Local Government Council, Hon. Thompson Osagie, has commenced extensive road reconstruction and grading works in Evbuobanosa, drawing commendations from residents and stakeholders for his administration’s commitment to infrastructural renewal.
The development was disclosed in a statement issued by the Chief Press Secretary to the Executive Chairman, Orhionmwon Local Government Council, Dennis Ugbudian. The statement said the intervention has sparked overwhelming excitement among residents, many of whom described it as long-awaited and transformative after years of neglect.
The ongoing project has rekindled hope and triggered a wave of appreciation for the Edo State Governor, His Excellency, Senator Monday Okpebholo, and the council chairman, Hon. Thompson Osagie, for their timely response to the infrastructural needs of the people. Communities within Iwemuwe and Idundolor districts are among the major beneficiaries, as the newly rehabilitated roads are restoring access to previously unreachable areas, extending connectivity to neighbouring Uhunmwode Local Government Area. Residents were also unanimous in their commendation of the former Executive Chairman of Orhionmwon Local Government Council, Hon. Patrick Aisien, and the Deputy Speaker of the Edo State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Osamwonyi Atu, whose efforts were instrumental in attracting the project to the community.
