The commendation was contained in a communique issued following the council’s monthly congress held on Wednesday, 19th August 2026 at the Olu Osungbohun Hall, NUJ Press Centre, Iwo/Ibadan Road, Osogbo.

The congress, after exhaustive deliberations on matters affecting the progress of the union and Osun State, congratulated Governor Ademola Adeleke on his re-election and hailed the people of the state for turning out in large numbers to vote.

“Congratulated H.E Senator Ademola Adeleke on his reelection as Osun State Governor by the good people of the State,” the communique stated.
