The Chairman of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, Osun State Council, Comrade Adeyemi Aboderin, and other executives have congratulated members of the council who have recently attained Master of Science and Doctor of Philosophy degrees.
The beneficiaries are Peter Agbeshimi, Suliyat Taiwo, Oluwaranti Ojewumi and Dr Olubunmi Badiora.
In a congratulatory message signed by the Hon. Secretary of the council, Olalekan Akindoju, the NUJ described the academic feat as remarkable.
“This remarkable academic achievement is a testament to your commitment to learning, professional development, intellectual growth and the pursuit of excellence, despite the demands and responsibilities of journalism practice,” the statement said.
The council said the accomplishment of the members is a source of pride to the union and a significant contribution to the advancement of journalism and the media industry in Osun State and Nigeria at large.
“I am confident that the knowledge, skills and expertise acquired by you will further enrich journalism practice, promote ethical standards and contribute meaningfully to societal development,” the statement added.
The council once again congratulated the members on their achievements.
