INEC APPOINTS FORMER PUNCH EDITOR ADEDAYO OKETOLA AS NEW CHIEF PRESS SECRETARY

The Independent National Electoral Commission has officially confirmed the appointment of former Punch Newspaper Editor, Adedayo Oketola, as its new Chief Press Secretary.

Oketola, a seasoned journalist with nearly 20 years of experience, brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the role, having served in various high-profile editorial positions at The PUNCH, including News Editor, Business Editor, and Assistant Editor of News & Politics for Saturday PUNCH.

In his new capacity, Oketola will be responsible for articulating INEC’s policies, decisions, and activities to the public, managing the commission’s image, and serving as the direct liaison between the INEC Chairman and the press.
