TINUBU CONFERS GCON HONOUR ON ENTREPRENEUR SIR GILBERT CHAGOURY

President Bola Tinubu has conferred the honourary title of Grand Commander of the Order of the Niger (GCON) on renowned entrepreneur and philanthropist Sir Gilbert Chagoury. The award recognizes Chagoury’s outstanding virtues and services to Nigeria.

“Congratulations to my role model, dear friend and mentor, Ambassador Gilbert Chagoury, on the well-deserved GCON honour conferred by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu,” said Billionaire Femi Otedola in a congratulatory message. “Your life is a masterclass in vision, discipline, and steady excellence.”

Chagoury’s projects, including Banana Island and Eko Atlantic City, have created jobs and inspired Nigerians. “This honour is truly well deserved,” Otedola added.

The Instrument of Conferment states, “In recognition of your outstanding virtues and services to Nigeria, I, BOLA AHMED TINUBU, President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, award you the title of Grand Commander of the Order of the Niger (GCON).”
