Senator Ned Nwoko has publicly released a laboratory report and private messages, claiming his wife Regina Daniels’ drug addiction is the source of violent unrest in their home. The lawmaker shared a toxicology test result which he says shows Regina tested positive for marijuana, cocaine, morphine, ipiates, and alcohol at dangerous, health-toxic levels.
Nwoko is demanding Regina return to rehab, stating, “The truth is, I have set a clear condition for her to accept rehab in Asokoro or outside Nigeria especially Jordan where she will not have access to drugs.” His statements are a response to Regina’s recent allegations of domestic abuse, where she was heard in a video saying, “I can’t stand the violence anymore; it’s too much.”
The Senator strongly refuted her claims, insisting he has never been abusive. “Regina was not always like this. Her current battle with drugs and alcohol abuse is the root of our problem,” he wrote. He accused Regina of being the violent party, alleging she assaulted staff and destroyed property. Nwoko also pointed fingers at her friends, identifying Sammy as her “main drug supplier” and another named Ann.
In a detailed WhatsApp chat sent to Regina, Nwoko expressed his frustration with her late-night activities and suspected drug use. He wrote, “You have shown so much disrespect in the past few days. I don’t know who is giving you drugs amongst them and this lifestyle is totally unacceptable and we can’t continue like this.” He issued an ultimatum, stating, “It is either you continue with your therapy or you check into the rehab in Asokoro. I won’t fund your lifestyle again until you are fully rehabilitated.” Nwoko concluded that his attempts to facilitate her rehabilitation have been consistently rejected.
