The Ijaw Youth Council, Gbaramatu Clan in Warri South West Local Government Area of Delta State, has announced a scholarship reward for the top 10 highest scorers in the 2025 Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board examination under its Supplementary Educational Support Scheme.
The youth body disclosed the plan in a public statement issued by the Information Officer of the Clan, Comrade Ari E. Ebimotimi. “The leadership of the Ijaw Youth Council, Gbaramatu Clan, is excited to announce the second phase of its Supplementary Educational Support Scheme for our successful JAMB beneficiaries,” the statement said. “This phase includes a Scholarship Reward for the top 10 scorers.”
The council said the initiative is part of its ongoing efforts to support education in Gbaramatu Kingdom and empower the next generation of scholars. It had earlier registered more than 140 beneficiaries for free JAMB forms on Saturday, February 1, 2025, and pledged N50,000 each for the 10 highest scorers of the 2025 JAMB examination.
To ensure a fair and transparent process, the IYC Gbaramatu Clan directed all candidates who participated in the free JAMB form programme to send their JAMB scores and registration number via WhatsApp to +234 811 441 3471 between June 25th and July 7th, 2025. “To ensure a fair and transparent process, all candidates must send their JAMB scores and Registration number via WhatsApp +234 811 441 3471 between June 25th and July 7th, 2025,” Comrade Ari E. Ebimotimi said in the statement.
The statement added that the ten highest scorers will receive full rewards for their outstanding performance. All candidates are advised to check their respective scores, submit them through the designated communication channel, follow any further instructions provided to them individually, and complete all necessary processes within the specified timeframe.
Comrade Ari E. Ebimotimi noted that the programme reflects the council’s commitment to educational development in the kingdom and to encouraging academic excellence among Ijaw youths.
