The Edo State Government has approved the redeployment of the Commissioner for Works, Hon. (Dr.) Felix Ehiguese Akhabue, to the Ministry of Water Resources, effective immediately. This decision was authorized by the Executive Governor of Edo State and announced in an official statement by the Secretary to the State Government, Umar Musa Ikhilor, Esq.
According to the statement, the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Works has been directed to assume administrative oversight of the ministry pending the appointment of a new commissioner. The government explained that this move is part of ongoing administrative adjustments within the state’s executive structure.
“The decision forms part of ongoing administrative adjustments within the state’s executive structure,” the statement read.
