Comrade Odion Musa, Liberty TV sports anchorman, turned back the clock at the recently concluded Nigerian Athletics Masters Championship in Abuja, claiming one Gold and one Bronze medal.
The former Edo State athlete overcame strong contenders from the Nigeria Army, Navy, Air Force, Immigration, media organizations, and other institutions to take Gold in the 110 meters Hurdles M35 event.
He demonstrated his all-round ability again in the 4 x 100m Relay Final, where he anchored his team to a Bronze medal finish.
Beyond athletics, Comrade Odion Musa serves as Captain of the NUJ football team, competes in table tennis, and remains an active member of the Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN).
His dedication goes beyond reporting and competition. He is a committed advocate for integrity in sports and currently holds office as Vice-Chairman of the Sports Integrity Foundation.
The inaugural championship featured notable figures including former Nigerian champion Mike Monye, Tich International athletes from Poland, and several other renowned athletic stars.
