Bishop Dayo Olutayo, General Overseer of Unity Worship Centre, has introduced his new wife to church members, sparking controversy. Olutayo divorced his wife, Mummy Bolu, after 33 years, citing “conspiracy” against him. “If you’re happy clap, if you’re not happy clap. You have no choice,” he told members.
Olutayo claimed he’s “never been married” before, invoking heaven and earth to witness. “This is the altar of holiness. I cannot be lying here. Heaven and earth will witness that for the first time in my life I’ve gotten married,” he said, asking members to pray for him.
Allegations of infidelity surround Olutayo, with claims of mistresses and children outside marriage. Previously, he served Winners Chapel, led by Bishop David Oyedepo, his brother-in-law.
