The Tinubu-Shettima Leadership Forum (TSLF), a pro-democracy pressure group, has appealed to President Bola Tinubu to sack eight NUPRC directors allegedly involved in corruption under former CEO Gbenga Komolafe. In a December 30, 2025 letter, TSLF Director General Prince Michael Newgent Ekamon-JP cited “mismanagement and corruption” by Komolafe’s team, urging swift action against:
- Lamido Muhammad Sabo (Finance)
- Capt. John Roland Tlonlagha (Health, Safety, Environment)
- Dr. Kelechi O. Ofiegbu (Corporate Services)
- Mr. Indabawa Bashari Alka (Exploration)
- Mr. Babajide Oluwole Fasina (Economic Regulation)
- Mr. Enorense Amadasu (Development)
- Barr. Olayemi Adegboyejo (Secretary/Legal)
- Mrs. Tola Fadeni Omowumi (Contracts)
TSLF praised Tinubu’s appointment of Mrs. Oritsemeiywa Eyesan as NUPRC CEO, saying she’ll bring “expertise, integrity, vision” per Renewed Hope agenda. “Leaving these directors risks sabotaging Eyesan’s reforms,” Ekamon warned.
